  • In the Chamber of Deputies (Cámara de Diputados), 257 members are elected for four-year terms through a closed-list proportional representation. Approximately half of seats are renewable every two years. While seats are allocated in proportion with provincial population size, all parties must surpass a three percent threshold to earn a seat.
