New Public Opinion Research from NDI regarding Tunisia

According to the finds of recently released public opinion research, the National Democratic Institute has found that although Tunisian's are still fully committed to the democratic process they are becoming frustrated with their government's lack of accomplishments. This research, which is the work of focus groups that were held from June 1-June 11, found that of those who participated felt as if the interim National Constituent Assembly was failing to meet their expectation. Furthermore, participants felt as if the country's elected officials lacked the skills and experience needed to solve the pressing issues that Tunisia is facing.
