Three elections are scheduled to be held between January 22-24, 2016. Voters will head to the polls on January 22, 2016 in Vanuatu to elect 52 new members of parliament following last year's corruption scandal. Furthermore, on January 24, 2016, voters in Portugal will vote to elect a new President, with Anibal CAVACO SILVA stepping down. Finally, on January 24, 2016, a second round of voting will be held to elect a new President in Haiti; however one candidate, Jude CÉLESTIN has said he will boycott the second round of voting.
