Conservatives hold on to South Korean government

South Korea's ruling conservative coalition retained narrow control over parliament in elections on Thursday. The New Frontier (Saenuri) Party won 152 of 300 seats, only slightly down from the 162 it previously held. The opposition Democratic United Party won 127 seats while its ally, the United Progressive Party, captured 13.
