Yemen holds election with one candidate

Yemenis voted Tuesday in a presidential election that had only one candidate. Abed Rabu Mansour HADI, the longtime vice president, was the only name on the ballot. The early election was as a result of President Ali Abdullah SALEH’s decision to resign from the presidency under an agreement brokered by the Gulf Cooperation Council.
