Nov. 26, 2011, midnight

Morocco’s Justice and Development Party (PJD) captured 107 of the 395 seats in the country’s parliamentary elections on Saturday. This was the first parliamentary election under a new constitution, which Moroccan votes approved in a July referendum. Under the new constitution, King MOHAMED VI is required to choose the prime minister from the PJD, as they will be the largest party in parliament.
