Zambia to hold snap elections in September

Zambian President Rupiah BANDA dissolved parliament on Thursday, triggering general elections for September 20. BANDA will face Michael SATA, in a rematch of the 2008 presidential election. BANDA, who leads the Movement for Multiparty Democracy, narrowly defeated SATA, who leads the Patriotic Front, by a margin of 40 to 38 percent.
