- Assembly: Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) has a unicameral Legislative Assembly with 10 seats.
* The Queen is represented by the Governor of the Falkland Islands. The current Governor is Nigel HAYWOOD.
Description of electoral system:
- The Queen is hereditary.
- The Chief Executive is appointed by the governor.
- In the Legislative Assembly, 8 members are elected by block vote to serve 4-year terms and 2 members are appointed ex officio to serve 4-year terms.
